flames to ashes and smoke
that was all way before
the fire has died down,
after the strongest wind has blown
aghast,afraid,defeated
all of these in a day's thread
nevertheless,it happened,it did
nothing you can do,but accept it with
blue,scarlet,sunset orange
the changing of the fire has been strange
was all of these expected?
i believe not,for i will know if it had
sadly one after the other,
it started to wither,to melt,to vanish
being ready was all i wished,
that was before i realized i would be neither
